..... when we set out there were good 5 foot swells ( a lil much for my 14 foot aluminum and its 50 year old 10 horse) but we mannaged. we hugged the shore to get to calmser water and decided to try to get a decent jigging pattern going (nice walleye chop and all) well waves wind and current made that just toooo nuts so we decided to fish the shallow weed edges along the main channal (weeds grown to just under the surface in 2-6 feet of water (the kind that look like Xmas trees) we tossed spinners and buzzbiats...then cranks....then jigs....then spinners and buzzbiats....then cranks....then jigs....then the kitchen sink....then anything else i could fins.... nothing.... no1 out there was catghing anything.... we explored a new lil channal and found what looked like asome bass water..... mayB a different day cuz 2day all i got was a gob of i dont wanna know wut on my jig.... well night sets in and water calms to a still chopy but safer flow so we head to the main channal to jig for eyes..... major snag.... lose 2 setups and mannage to break the tip off brand new rod..... 
very sad.... anywhoo get back to the dock and the bugs were the worst ive ever seen.... couldent choose what to swat cut there was at least 10 on u at any given time... pull the boat out drive like hell with the windows down to get um outa the truck... get home... and afteer all of this.... fishless.... did see a beaver in a lil back bay thought (wierd cuz i dident realize they were n my neck of the woods) very cool.....well hopin to get out this week some time.... need walleye....need new pole...net gigger boat lol..... well best of luck to ya alljebby
