Skunked!

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Skunked!

Post by DuuhMojo »

Went and fished off the dock last night for a hour and 15 mins or so at
Buckham's Bay and never got a single bite!

All I caught were weeds and I lost my popper on snapped line cast!
:(

Need to find me a good shoreline fishing location.

Cheers

The water is so low right now in buchams that you can see the bottom 20+ feet from the launch. Not much swimming around there except some sunfish and minnows. Unless you can cast really far I doubt there is much to catch and the fact that the surface water temp is in the mid 80s doesnt help. In the spring and fall you can definitely catch some nice fish from the shore, before I had a boat I used to fish from there and caught really nice pike, bass and catfish. Good luck 8)
