bass/pike stuff

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

WobbleHead from bassPro. I used them at the 1000 islands last year. I had 2 . Lost both on first cast with each to Pike. You can bet I'll have more this year. I've also caught small mouth on the river at home.

If your looking for something simple, I would recommend some rattlin raps or big-o's very simple, just cast and retrieve, no jerking or pausing necessary, and they are both extremely effective for bass/pike. Also berkley powergrubs work extremely well, cast & retrieve or you can jig them as well for a different approach.

You can't get any simpler than a tube jig and also a Mann's one minus for shallow water and also a Rapala DT10 for deeper water.
