I bought my wife a nice new Walleye rod this year, a Fenwick 6'6" Walleye. well on a cast this weekend it broke 3" above the join Of course I never keep receipts for rods, I have never had a rod break before this, so I'm of to LeBarons today in the vain hope that they will do something about it. fingers crossed
yeah same, i just bought a fenwick ultra light over the winter, and it snapped on a cast! walked it to bass pro, and exchanged it w/ no probs, i just hope it doesint happen again b/c after friday im trapped on an island till september!

Over the years I too have ahd a number of rods break and had the manufacturer step up and send a replacement. This is what keeps you comming back to specific brands and stores-after sales service!...Larry
I had a Berkley pack rod that broke and was replaced by them at least 6 times... By the end I didnt even care if they replaced it anymore. I still have the rod, but I dont use it anymore. I bought a shimano replacment and I will never buy another Berkley rod again.
