My buddy and I decided to take the Quinty plunge for Fall walleye. We don't have a clue where to start. I would appreciate any GPS waypoints or directions. We are staying close to Picton, Merland Park....Thanks

Fishing Quinte With Eyes Closed
No GPS or way points needed for the Fall. In general head East from Merlands to the east side of the ferry.
East of the ferry 2 lines allowed. west of the ferry 1 line per
If earlier fall...head further East up the reach past the stacks. Troll 30+ FOW approx 20feet down.
If later in the fall start closer to the ferry and run up and down either shore to around the light house. 20+ fow
or right in front of Merlands by the cement plant (1 line).
Watch out she can get real rough on the reach.

Hey,Crawler as Dartee states head east from Merlands beyond the ferry about 1 -2 miles. In the fall (late October early November) we tended to look for suspended fish in 80 - 100 ft of water.If the fish were active they would hit deep divers off the inline planner boards.In some cases we had to adjust using snap weights to get down even deeper.
This can be amazing fishing if you hit it right.We've had 2 16.6's and my personal best is a 13.5 with plenty of double digits.

Also as Dartee mentioned watch out for an East wind blown down the Reach it can be quite frightening.

As stated quinte in the fall is an awesome place! I lived there for 5 years and loved every minute of it. Ten minutes from two launch ramps was great!
If you are stating at Merlands don't overllook the area just east of the resort just out from the weedlines. Huge walleye migrate up that way into Picton bay. Many walleye are caught out from the cement plant near the markers with deep diving crank baits. Long lines are the ticket. Planer boards and long lines work well also. At that time of year there are also many walleye caught jigging off of thomson's point at haybay in about 40 feet of water....Larry
