Salmon running yet in Port hope??

Anyone know if the fish are coming in yet

I was there last night fishing off the peir. I fished from sun down to around midnight and only saw 1 fish caught. There was nothing up the river yet that I saw. With the rain that came lastnight as I was leaving P.H. just might be enough to send them up river.

I know it's a REALLY long way away, but... there running up in Nipigon near Thunder Bay. One of my in-laws had 300yrds of line stripped two days ago.
I'm looking forward to your post, I was going to try to get to port hope in the next week or so.
