How's The shore fishing in Sarnia

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Post by Dartee »

Heading to Sarnia to the sis-inlaws Monday till Thurs. and was thinking of bringing the rod and box with me in case I need to get away from all the kids.
How is the shore fishing at the bridges this time of year??
What should I use ?

try using white jig heads with white twister tails...i'm still catching pickeral down there at night...usually the bite starts at 10 pm and on till 3am...very slow retreive as soon as your jig hits the water...let me know how you made out :D

Well Thanks for the replys guys,,, I went to the bridge Wed but she was a little rough..I didn't have my foul weather gear to keep me dry. The waves were smashing on the rocks pretty good. (you would get wet standing 30 ft back from shore).
So we took the kids up to Mike Weir park to play in the waves and sand.

where the kids are standing the water was only knee deep
