Quinte for largemouth

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Quinte for largemouth

Post by teppy »

Was out on The Bay of Quinte to do some largemouth bass fishing this past weekend (fri. and sat.)and wow I love it when the Bay lays flat for a change. Practically no winds or just a light breeze!!!
Caught 44 largemouth as they are really puttin on the feed bag for winter. Water was starting to clear up and found a couple real good spots where I could get them consistantly. Some were caught on the flippin jig, spinnerbait, buzz bait, & at one point it didn`t seem to matter what I threw!!!!
Heres a couple pics

More pics to follow as I still have to load them up. Biggest one of the weekend was 4.6 lbs

Dude... you're still alive!

Tried to invite you to my wedding... but you never got back to me. Good to see you're enjoying the water still.

Hope all is well.

Bass Wishes,

Post by teppy »

Well I got some more free time to add some more pics....when I really should be out on the water!!! Windows of opportunity are getting smaller as anyone who has kids in hockey will understand.
A fine pair on the flippin` jig my partner and I caught

A 4.6lber I caught on a buzzbait and boy what a strike when he hit!!!!

Another on that fell for the jig.

This fish is from a few weeks earlier but it one of my favourites as it my son with a nice fish he caught throwing a spinnerbait.

Well thats all for now and when I get out again somewhere I`ll report it

Teppy,

Now that's some fantastic bassin'!

I'm really getting a bigger appreciation for largemouth fishing; it's a blast!

Great pics. Hope you can revisit for another round of good bass fishing (are you close to Quinte?)...

W.
Thanks, Dad, for taking me fishing when I was a kid.
