8) The weather wasn't looking so promising for the weekend based on Friday's forecast so didn't think I was gonna head out.

Yesterday the sun was out in the morning so I decided to heck with it I'm going! :D

Headed to down to "my" hole for some perch or whatever, I wasn't disappointed. Worms and minnows were used with minnows being the ticket. Didn't get a whole lot but got enough for a meal anyway

On a side note, saw lots of fish jumping and splashing.... and witnessed somebody get what I believe was a bow... was too far away to say for sure but he was holding it up and it was obviously silver!

Hey Bassmaster the perchin' is awesome in LPB right now, we should get out for 'em. Lots of jumbos.

Nice work though!

The perch tasted quite fine actually... Italian bread crumbs in the frying pan ( hopefully my dietician isn't reading this.... :P )

BBR: Yes I have heard the perch action has been on fire down in LPB... I noticed Markus and his daughter did quite well the other day out there.

Have to admit it's the first time I have had decent fall action for perch on shore in a place other than Dover or Rowan.

As far as getting out on LPB goes, just need plenty of notice BBR and depends on the weather too.

Perch are always fun (and I hear tasty, though we don't keep them). The kids just had some fun with perching on Wolfe Lake. They're fun when they're ON.

Thanks, Dad, for taking me fishing when I was a kid.
