glow in the dark....

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Joco I went to a camera shop last year and asked them if they had any of the disposable camera that they have taken the film out of em. He gave me 5 or 6 but I was not able to get the flash to work on em.

keep us up to date. sopposedly to get an even better glow quickly is to make a small box lined with aluminum paper shiny side up with a hole for the flash on top. Put the jig in the box and flash.

Got that on iceshanty

Try this .. picked up two the other month and tried them out .. work well and dont blind you in the dark ... the blue LED is actually blacklight charges the glowers alot faster and longer.

When you get those throw away flash cameras you have to take some of the back of it off....inside you will find a little button that tells the camera that the film has advanced and to charge the flash again....when you need the flash you hit that button and you will hear the flash powering up.....they work great!!!

Joco,

I've used them a lot over the last 15-20 years...especially for the after dark bite. My favorites are the Demons (Custom Jigs & Spins), Frostee spoons (Lindy), and last but not least, Ratsotails (CJ&S).

Take this advice though....purchase the lures versus make your own as you will not get as good a finish (chips too easy) and the material is a bit toxic!
