It sure was Fun!
After Shooting Bass Pro Outdoor World TV with Keith last fall, he got a taste of the "Bay" and couldn't wait to get back with his longtime partner (Gary) and nephew (Chase). I'm glad that Sheldon hooked up with them this summer and got a taste of what I have been experiencing for the last few years, everytime I fish with these Legends I have to pinch myself.
On Monday I was out with my friends from Rangers Boats and we had an absolutely fantastic day. We boated 37 walleyes and several were over 12lb with the largest coming in at 14.4lb.

All day I wondered how the Next Bite crew were doing and if they were getting fish....I was hoping for the best but they were working a different school then me so I wasn't positive. I found out back at the launch that they had a great day as well. Here is a shot of the 2 boats working the North shore.

As Sheldon mentioned the next day I fished with Gary and Chase....I could tell they thought I was telling fish stories about the day before so I worked hard to put them on both numbers and quality fish. It took some time as the pod was moving but eventually I had it firing and we were getting them big time! Here is shot of the three of us ( sorry for the quality Boyd had his finger in front of the flash).

The next day I had another trip, so the Biter's were off with Sheldon again. Not as high a numbers for Wednesday as we only boated 17 fish but I got another giant a 32.5 inch 14.4 lb. beauty.

Another great trip on the Bay and I look forward to fising with the guys again next fall. A big thanks to Sheldon and I am glad to have another Canadian getting involved in the walleye scene south of the border. You will do great on the MWC!
Here are a few other shots from the week.

Shawn,
I was a great time to be on the water as a few of the pods of walleye where producing great numbers and size - once you found them. As always it is great to get out on the water with local walleye anglers. I am sure we will cross paths again this fall on Quinte. If not I will see you at the MWC events next season.
Thanks for the report and great pictures.

Wow! Those are some great looking eyes. I'm hoping to get out there at some point this fall. Not too familar with the area though. Are most people getting fish out of Adolphus Reach right now? I have a buddy who went up yesterday but only managed 2. They didn't fish out that way though.
Thanks,
JFish

It was a fishing trip I will never forget.I had the honor of meeting Kieth, Gary and fishing with Chase this past summer in Houghton MI. We talked alot about the monster fish in Bay of Quinte, so they wanted to travel out after Shawn introduced Keith to the fishing last fall.
