BOQ report

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

BOQ report

Post by muskymatt »

Went and caught some fish..LOL

Not as many as we hoped ...but got my pb walleye 10lbs 7 oz and my dad got his pb 5lbs 7oz,, i only wish one more would have graced our lines for Deckard.
The wind was brutal and never ending...but we carried on

We did't mark as many as I hoped and the ones we did were really deep....45-80 ft down and if you catch those ones you kill them.

Oh well ,had fun , will never stay at merland park again ...but that's another story

Her are some pics

Sorry I can't seem to get the pics up...don't know why  :(

Good to hear you caught some fish there Muskymatt and a PB at that, you got love that. 6 of us stayed at Merlands a few weeks ago and I could see there would be some issues with the amount of fisherman to boat berth ratio but fortunately we pulled our boat to another launch each day and avoided the headache of possibly not have a place to dock your boat at the end of the day. Looked pretty caotic the way people had to back in and out of there. Other then that we managed to put a nice weekend in and enjoyed the weekend in spite of the crazy weather we had.

It's funny, your report is just the oposite of the guy down the block from me. He said the wind was fine and they caught a lot of eyes.

I guess he was doing something different.

MM,

You trolled past me on Sunday I believe....Sunday was a perfect wind day down there....I wish they all could be like that!

Another satisfied Merlands customer I see...

Better luck next time.....the fish weren't off....just gotta work em.... ..Time on the water is valuable experience down there that's for sure...

Congradulations on your PB walleye Muskymatt - BOQ is always an adventure - never know what might happen, weatherwise or fishwise. [/url]
