ANOTHER NEWBIE SAYING HELLO

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Nice of you to introduce yourself mallard1. Welcome to the board. There is definitely a lot of knowledgeable people here to talk to and share information with. Just look at all the resent reports about the B of Q and you will get to see some great fish being pulled out of there. I actually posted a report a week or so ago and we also stayed at Merland's. It is actually a great spot and I think if the docking facilities and berths were more accomadating for the amount of fishermen that use it it would actually be a pretty nice spot. I guess some of the cabins are pretty small so if you are going with a group try and get the biggest cabin available. I really enjoyed the trip and since it was my first time on the Bay I learned a whole new way of fishing that I never experienced before by using planner boards and down riggers. Hope to see your report when you return from your B of Q fishing trip. Good Luck!

There are a number of us that do more reading than posting, this can be an intimidating lot , with their knowledge and dedication to the sport.

But sometimes you have to comment.

Hey Almontefisher, I think you mean lemmings, not that the thought of lemers jumping off a cliff doesn't make for an interesting visual.
I'm just another beer drinker with a fishing problem!
