Fishing Licenses
I experimented a bit last year. My wife renewed hers on-line. That one took about a week or so. I renewed mine at a local store. That one took about 10 weeks. This year I'm going on-line to.

MNR sends me a reminder every three years, and every three years I send them money. Works for me.
I have had an Outdoors Card since they started this system, always got the three year option, one less stupid piece of bureaucracy to remember two years out of three.........and they have always sent me my renewal card before the old one expired.

Fishing License??????? You mean we need one of those?
Just kidding of course, I usually renew mine at the local Home Hardware store here in Stittsville, however I found out that the store is closing. This year I had to go "all the way" to Kanata Centrum to the Canadian Tire. You thinking about getting 'em Bowzog? I hear it's a lot of paperwork with little or no return. However, you are the only tackle shop in Stittsville. With so many doing it online these days though, it might not be necessary.

........still thinking. ....actually, I called the MNR and they're supposed to get back to me with some info on it. We haven't commited yet though. I'm pretty sure most serious anglers would get the 3yr option and probably on line. Most paper licence sales would be your weekend fisher or tourist. I sent about 15 people to Home Hardware last year that fit that profile.
I'm a goin' fishin', mama's goin' fishin' and my baby's goin fishin' too.
