Shirley's Bay

Went to Bits and Baits in the morning to pick up some minnows to try Mississippi Lake. Was told that the ice was patchy so got some directions to a real easy access point to Shirley's Bay.

Washed a few lures and drowned some minnows, but enjoy a nice day on the water. Was real nice until early afternoon when the wind started kicking up.
Ended up with just a couple light hits but no takers. Talked to a few others out there and they were having limited success. Ice was good and thick, over a foot. Tried 8-12 feet with jigging and tip-ups.
