Ice fishing Lake Simcoe

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Ice fishing Lake Simcoe

Post by Brandon »

Heading out from Lindsay and lookin to hit Simcoe. Where would be the best place to get on the ice from HWY-7? Where would be good on the east side of the lake in the Beaverton area?

We're heading out tomorrow around 10 after school. Thanks for any help!

Brandon,
Been too busy to get out but the waters off of Willow Beach has been hotter than a crackerjack for whities! You can access the water at Island Grove Marina I do believe is it's name.
Good luck!

Head right out of beaverton and look for the huts. Most of the huts will be on the fishing grounds and if you buy some bait right there at the landing from one of the operators they'll point you in the right direction.
