Has anyone heard anything about a derby March 3rd at Oziles? I thought I heard about one during the Kpin derby.

Oziles Derby planned for March 3.
Yves Grandmaitre of Oziles has announced that the Annual Petrie Island Ice Fishing Derby will be held on Saturday, March 3. Details are to be announced soon. Check the PIIFA events page for details when they are announced.
Yves told us that they are looking to hold fundraiser derbies this winter. If anyone is involved with a charitable organization and would like to hold a fund raising derby, they would be happy to help out. For more information, contact Yves Grandmaitre at ygrandmaitre@oziles.com.

Anyone else attending the derby? I was thinking of going? Depending on how many familiars are going to show up I might do my perchin' on Sunday.

If I do make it I would be looking for a partner. I would want to be fishing walleye bay in the morning for walleye then move to crappie bay for pike and perch around 10.

Let me know!

I might be fishing Petrie on Saturday but 7:00 start is too late for me, I got to be there before sunrise. If I don't get any before 7:00 then I might enter the Derby.

Why not join the derby anyways if your at least going to be down there for the day

8 hours gives you a lot of time to move around. Besides your on a quad

I take it the early morning bite has been good to you

I am not going to make it, I need to repair the Quad, it is only a 3-wheeler tonight , I completely %^^%%@$ed the suspension on one side in the rear. need to get parts. Hope i can get some soon cause not too long of icefishing left.
