Old Orchard (maine) fishing?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Old Orchard (maine) fishing?

Post by OBD »

I plan on going to Old Orchard Beach this summer, has anyone fished there? Or any recommended charters/artificial bait for salt water?

Thanks!

Your best bet is chunk mackeral from shore with a heavy weigh and wait stripers and bluefish are the most common. for a charter go to pine point and look around they go out of the river there. Pine point is north of oob on rt. 9 (I think) . There is lots of beach to fish just watch out some aeras not suposto fish thill after like 5 or 6 pm others you can just go. Another option is the mouth of the scarborro river on the jetty in camp ellis. when you going?

There is the bait shack in the parking lot by the jetty or a bait and tackel shop on us 1 across from aquaboggin soco bay bait and tackel. Had a little luck last year with clams
