"Napkin Man".... He will be (unfortunately) forever immortalized. You know, I saw the dude walking off the Skaneateles pier on a later occasion with a beautiful rainbow; he was all puffed up like a banty rooster, and I was like "Crap! Napkin Man's a fisherman AND he can catch fish!" He just has difficulty with the waste receptacle concept.
You made me laugh this time, K-pin, but I've got my eye on you.
Funny thing is Wolfe...I mentioned old betsy to others during a 3 phone call span. I've discovered, coincidentally enough...its the name of my snowblower, your dishwasher, 2 cars and a prehistoric power tool. She's one popular girl, this betsy.
Come to think of it, I went to high school with a Betsy...(I'd best not comment further)....*murmurs......(hubba hubba)....*
Paul, I live near Skaneateles -- as a true country angler would say, "just one lake over to the east". It's a beautiful village to visit. Even Bill and Hilary graced us with their presence a few years back.
RJ, next time you & Birdee are around this way, be sure to let me know. There's some nice pubs in town.

My dryer runs very hot, then suddenly blows out an enormous blast of hot air through the vent. I'm going to call it "Old Paolo". hehehe. I like that one.

This thread has gotten waaaaaaay out there... Winter boredom!
As a sidebar to cleaning your fishing tackle a good investment that I have found is a book of collectable fishing tackle. My first time through the book I found some of the tackle I had inherited is considered collectable. So I now have 15 or 20 empty comparments which I now have to fill.
Cleaning the tackle box out is the way that I get through winter. I have never enjoyed ice(beer) fishing so there is nothing like changing hooks or adding new lures to make the time go by. I also loving going over maps, and chatting to other fishermen. What is especially nice is plan a trip for the early summer and then one MUST sort through your tackle box to make sure that you have all the stuff that you will need. I like to start the summer off with a flyin and I have sorted through my box about 50 times in preperation to this years trip. A well organized tacklebox leads to better fishing.
