pike opener

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

You may want to give Tommy Thompson Park a try..aka Leslie Street Spit. The 3 inner cell's(ponds) usually have fair to great pike fishing. Keep in mind that you won't be able to drive a vehicle past the gates at the entrance of the spit. You can bike it, roller blade it, or hoof it in....i would'nt recommend walking in though  The conservation authority used to run a passenger shuttle van as well, but i'm not sure if they still offer that free service. The points and neckdowns leading to each cell are worth trying.

Good luck if ya go!
