little kayak outhing report.

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

nice report and great photos! My hope is (was?) to purchase a canoe in the near future for me and the growing family. However, your report has me considering a YAK.

Great outing for sure just wish the weather was stable.

It was a pleasure to meet both Yakfisher and gwright.

One tip when placing a yak on top of the roof rack do not let go of it until it is securely in place, my first outing and the damn thing slid of the rake bounced of the roof and then the hood and ripped the bug deflector of the truck, sure my swearing woke the neighbours. The scratches were easily removed with rubbing compound, would have been a lot funnier if it was somebody else’s.

Another tip always carry a roll of TP and or a change of shorts, say no more.

A regular "Yak Invasion"...love it!

What a fun report, Joco. Thx for sharing those great, colorful pics. It must have been a kick to have that kind of get together. I'm sure you'll all want to do it again.
