$500.00 REWARD
Final Verdict
Well.......... For destroying my shacks, the one fine young gentleman who took the rap has been handed his punishment. He must write me a letter of apology and do 20 hours community service.

Wow BTS.....that's BS!! Can you not seek some compensation from that twit's parents???....are they well know within the community??
You should have asked the judge if the community service could entail that the young gentleman hand drill holes for you all with a manual auger, through the ice in February when the ice is a good 30+ inches thick!!!!!

Wow!!!....what a harsh sentence/punishment....sure would make me think twice about doing something like that again.
Let me see....minimum wage is about 8 bucks an hour times 20 hours of
community service...I can guarantee that those shacks were worth more than $160.00 for the two that were destroyed.
Hope to hook up with ya for some hardwater excursions again this year Bri'

Hey Brian,
Your shacks were great examples of design and of hard work! I'm very sorry to hear (and be reminded) they were destroyed in a night of "wilding" by some local kids. Everybody regrets some bad choices in our youth...me included, but I'm sorry to hear there wasn't some form of compensation levied for you to rebuild those nice shacks. I hope it doesn't ruin you passion for the hardwater.
Let's hope for a better season and I'd like to have you out with Grant and I this year for some "finesse" fishing on our home turf!
All the best Brian!
