Thanks eveyone! I think I'll pick up some ready to use flourocarbon leaders & steel ones and try both, I'm only going for the weekend and will continue to take my chances with no leader when fishin' for bass. Fish'n'Time, thanks for the compliment, now everyone on this site knows what you are about, the first negative response I have had to date. If you have nothin' nice to say...

I'm on Fish'n'Time's side on this one. Leaders aren't that important. Either use them or don't use them. Not really worth discussing or dwelling on.
