(((Report)))Net man needed for tomorrow Saturday Nov 17

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Hey Rider, I'm doin the same. Taking my brother in law for his birthday fish. We're planning on launching at Reeve Craig at about 8:00 or so. If you don't find a partner you're more than welcome to join us.

Cheers,

Enjoy boys. Caught a 48 incher tuesday of last week under the 416. Beautiful healthy fish was safely released to fight another day. My personal best. Was however the only fish in a 6 hour period.

Well Slop and myself hit the Rideau for a few hours this morning. it was a beauty of a day :D We got at the launch at about 7:30 or so Bobber and his brother got there about the same time. We headed down to the bridge we casted for about 5 minutes and boys pulled up for a quick chat. But Slop was on a mission this day :P you see we have been out quite a few times this year and every time I was the one that was getting the hookups  and he was not going to let history repeat it self today.

Bam! fish on and I was like WTH he's not suppose to get the hookup  so finaly I was the net man and it was a pleasure 8)

Slop and Bobber have pics to add

That was 2 fish in 30 min of fishing the Rideau but the first one was during the last 15 minutes of fishing about a month ago

RIDEAU / SATURDAY

Post by COGS »

Was out on the Rideau with my brother in law today from 12pm - 4pm, we've been pounding it like crazy and had no luck at all, we've trolled from bridge to bridge, both sides running Believers / Bucktails and NOTHING !!! Can someone give a guy and his brother in law in a tin can 9.9hp with no electronics some guidance - what's working for guys !

If ANY of you would like a "net man" to join you ANYTIME, I would be more than happy to join.

A frustrated muskie angler,

Cogs

Hey Ted...nice report....I can't believe Grant wanted to go out with you after I read this reply to a recent post....
I'll take hardwater over softwater any day!...the colder the better. I never use bait either. I sure hope the ice season isn't months away
Hey Grant...did ya enjoy the softwater today?????

Hooray for Slop! Looking forward a pic or two. Lucky you, getting out and getting into some action. I'm extremely jealous! Maybe Rider is, too, just a little bit.

So even a blind squirrel finds a nut now and then  ! Way to go Grant! Let's see the pics, the whole pics and nothing but the pics!

Looks like Grant is no longer the net man, eh Ted! I wish I was there to offer those encouraging words he always has for me, "Don't lose 'em"! :)

Nice goin' boys!
