Rock Bassin

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Rock Bassin

Post by Jonathan »

:D Dad and I went out today because it was warm. We grabbed some worms and headed over to the Nith river to toss worms. We saw some big carp but they didn't want to bite. We tried another part of the pool and found lots of rock bass. I caught 2o rock bass and Dad caught 13 and one sucker. It was fun and we were only out an hour and a half.

Nice work on those rockbass, Jonathan. You and your Dad are squeezing every last drop out of the softwater season...way to go!

Hi Guys,

Congratulations on your rock bass adventure.....I read somewhere that the Nith is closed to fishermen after September 21? I went to my spot on the Nith on the 28 to find signs posted.....Is there spots on the Nith open right now?

keep it reel,

No closures I am aware of. No signs posted where we were and nothing in regs. that I can see.
