This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Just my opinion but I believe that the 54" Min and 36" Mins should be completely removed. There is no need to keep a fish that large, let it go, let it grow, let it pass away on its on. It will only keep the cycle going. With more people fishing for skies these days, and more being caught, why not have a release only. The replicas from a picture are far better than the real thing, and just like mentioned above, they will last 25 years+.

If it were a fish that can grow to these sizes in a few years, my opinion may vary, but they are not.

I am all for release only. There is no need to kill the fish, unless some accident has occurred while landing. I know, I will hear, then everyone will have an "accident", but if we have true trophy class fisheries, then we should do what we can to prevent the loss of trophy fish.

Just my opinion,

Mike

Fishing Musky is like going for a survival expedition in the middle of winter.

I you don't plan the trip before leaving, don't get educated on the subject, and don't bring the right equipment something just might go wrong.
