gatineau fishing

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I was up on lac bernard this summer and there were lot's of pike and some nice smallie's.
I was also told that there are trout out there as well in the deeper water.(40+ft)
Actually had a hit and miss trolling a lure about 35ft down over 60ft, would have liked to have seen it
either way , lot's of pike and some of decent size

25 years a go.......my ,my my,......got some sweet good memories from that period...or you could even say legends!!!

Take Donaldson Lake and Twin lake back then.....monster Musky Factory!!!!
Mc Greggor Lake in the mid 80's....monster pike could be seen on most outings.

I have so many stories when I stop to think about it that it's not even funny knowing how productive our Gatineau waters where healthy back then...Maybe I was a kid...but I will allways remember!

If we get there and the lake is frozen over we will brake up the ice with
our bare hands so we can get in some late, late, late fall pike fishing....
