How to avoide weed jam on electric motor prop?
Now as we all know to get big fat LMB we often need to get deep sometime real deep in the weed patches. But to get there and to move inside of it can be a hell of a problem. Padling a huge bass boat out of the weeds can be a difficult task!!!
I was wondering if there is a way or something we can do about it. Can we fit something on the shaft neer the prop to keep the weeds away??
How do you deal with the situation????

My previous trolling motor had a metal tab welded to the side of the prop head which covered the small gap between the prop and the prop head. It didn't really make a whole lot of difference in the real heavy stuff. To get out of the heavy stuff, I usually just pull up on the rope so the prop is half in-half out and crank up the juice. You'll probably need to spend a few minutes getting rid of the salad bar on the deck.....

I myself prefer to use a 19 yr old blonde model in a bikini to push the boat around in the weeds. That away I can concentrate on catchin them bass.Big Bass 444 wrote:Now as we all know to get big fat LMB we often need to get deep sometime real deep in the weed patches.
