opening fishing dates for ottawa

hey everyone i was just wondering wat the opening day for any fishing on the ottawa river because im planing an outing on the opening day thanks alot all fish hawkers

what species you want to target...?

you can fish now if you want.carp..crappys etc.

oh really im mostly fishing for pike and walleye wat is the opening date for them

if my memory is right on the ottawa river here its the 16 off may.

if you fish the nation river as an ex.....10 off may.

but to be sher..there is a link to the reg here and take a look...

Go to fishing regulations on this page nd then find the ottawa river zone

Keep in mind the size restrictions this year guys!!

Walleye & Sauger or any combination:

Fri. before 3rd Sat. in May to Dec. 31
S - 5; must be less than 40 cm (15.8 in.) from Mar. 1 - June 15C - 2; must be less than 40 cm (15.8 in.) from Mar. 1 - June 15
