I'm not sure what the actual law is but around here they harvest fish in both the Napanee and Moira river. Both are off the Mohawk Territory.

Last year in Outdoor Canada or some other fishing magazine there was a article about natives netting walleye in Lake Nippinsing. I beieve that was the lake. It was about what happens to the other fish caught in the nets like pike, muskie, bass and there was pictures of these not wanted fish thrown up on rocks and shorelines. The interviewed a native chief you defended these legal but immoral actions. I'm sure somone on this website seen this article, turned my stomach! 2 sets of rules for the citzens of Canada has hurt us long enough. :x
