Hi Everyone :
The walleye fishing seems to be quite slow this spring. I have been out every week for the past 3 weeks and we have caught much less walleye than last spring. I realize that the factors could be abundance of bait fish, too many overcast days(rain), and a bad winter. We have been trolling with just about every kind of lure(rapalas, spinners, cotton cordells) at various depths. We have even used live bait on spinners and rapalas. The walleye could be hiding in weed beds in shallow bays - we haven't tried fishing those locations yet.
I'm not an expert wallaye fisherman by any means, so can anyone offerf any insight as to what may be happening ?
Len
