Another PrinceCraft Owner

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Another PrinceCraft Owner

Post by Dartee »

Well I went and did it :D :D :D :D

I pluncked down some hard earned cash (and borrowed)on a new used boat.
Its not big but but it should fit the bill for alittle while. (+ the bill $$$ isn't too large :) )
It is a
1999 PrinceCraft 162 DLX + trailer
2002 Evinrude 40 Hp 4stroke
36lbs Trolling motor & Lawrence Fishfinder
The entire rig had hardly ever been used <20hrs.
All I need now is a Bimini top and a down rigger and I'll be all set.

but have too wait about 2 weeks before I can pick it up :( :(

Now if the wife starts to like fishing ( not on her life she says,)
Room may get tight with the 2 kids.

Look out water here I come

Best of luck with the new boat, Andre. It's a good feeling, isn't it? Now you must wait like a kid for Santa!

Andre,
I don't own a princecraft, but they are a great boat. I am sure you will enjoy your new boat and the fun it will bring on the water.

New Boat

Post by Legend »

:D I've heard it said that the two greatest days in a boat owners life are the day he bought it and the day he sells it. :)

The boat sounds sweet. I don't know if it's just me but people seem to becoming more pratical with their boat purchases. (Maybe it's the price of gas!)

Like you, I'm looking for a downrigger and maybe a fish finder but all in good time!

Congrats... Now go reek havoc on the fish population.

Thanks all

My choice in ride was greatly influenced by all the sage advice from all on this board .
Yes Big-O the wait will be painfull (and its only been aday) Oh well time to polish off the Honey Do list.

PS
For those still looking for a ride
The Marina I purchased from had a sweet looking crestliner 17' Proam 90hp susuki 4 strk(I think a 2001), with the stand up tops, bow cover , rod holders, 4 ped seats, fish finder, radio, electric anchor winch, easy loader trailer . Looked in great condition for about 17K, they haven't advertised it yet. If interested PM me and I'll tell you were it was.
