Sorry that I missed you guys there... I figured you might have split given how crazy busy it was . I fished up and down the river at a couple of spots after leaving the locks didn't have much luck, only a couple of pike.
I'm into trying again at a new location. Maybe the river in/near Carleton Place? Mannotick? I'm open to pretty much any location.
i was there til sportspal, showed up and then we high tailed it out of there, too many people, went to the next lock sets up and no onw, what car were you driving, maybe i saw ya?
Sorry, I've been a bit busy the last few days. Was driving a red Saturn Vue... but I didn't get there til around 5:30. This Sunday morning I'm heading to Manotick for a couple of hours of fishing. Anyone who wants to can PM me if they want to join me.

I'm thinking that I'll hit the Long Island locks area. There's a small dam in there somewhere isn't there? Believe it or not I haven't fished in there yet, but none of my other spots have been very productive this year.
I tend to leave early on the weekends, I'm planning to be there at about 5:30AM or so but that's negotiable. As Joe Walsh says, "I go to parties, sometimes until four, its hard to leave when you can't find the door".
Oops... it looks like Sunday morning is a bust. My wife already made (my) plans for Sunday morning so maybe I'll head over there in the late afternoon or early evening... or even on Saturday.
