Do you use 12v or 24v batteries for your electic motor?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Do you run a 12v electric or a 24v. 36v is for those lucky enough to be able to afford such luxuries.

An interesting problem with my batteries when I got home. Hooked the deep cycle up to the battery charger and she read fully charged. I thought that was odd, but set her up for a 2 amp trickle charge thinking it wouldn't need much (in spite of the fact I used the motor a lot throughout the day). Well, Sunday morning, she is reading down about 30% charge. I quickly turned it up to a 15 am charge thinking best to get this bad boy back up to snuff as quickly as possible.

She has me shopping for a recharge on the run kind of unit.
