Walleye on a Big-O

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Walleye on a Big-O

Post by Jimmy_1 »

I caught a 2lb+ walleye (approx) last night from the shore at Dalhousie.
Funny part is I was using a white Big-O as I was trying to lure largies out of the weeds.

I've been catching smallies and wallies all year....but those lovely buckets are just eluding me for some reason......

Hell for the record outta 9 times out muskie fishing I've caught 4 muskies!
Therefore, I have had better luck catching ski's then buckets!!!

I just don't understand it!!?????!!!

Funny as it may sound Jamsers, the Big-O 'use' to be my number one lure for walleyes. White too...When fishing a weedline for them, I will toss that or something similar looking for active fish before rippin a jig.

Early in the season trolling small white cranks can be the hot lure on the Grand below Dunnville. Pickeral, channels, bass, even caught some steel in June, all on white Big-O's.

Good lures.
