Fishing Kayak Rentals

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Fishing Kayak Rentals

Post by weekend warrior »

Anybody know of a place or places that rent fishing kayaks in the Ottawa area?

I'd kinda like to sample a couple of models before laying down my hard-earned-bucks.

Try Trailhead on Scott St. They also have a night every week where they haul a bunch of canoes and yaks to a beach near Westboro and let people try them out.

They might not be kayaks specifically for fishing though, but you can customize them if you go this route.

Sign up for one of Float Paddle and Fly's Kayak demo night. I went to last week's demo night and it was a lot of fun. They had six different fishing kayaks to test out.

There's this place just outside of Arnprior. Not sure what models they have though.
