Boat rental on the Mississippi?
All this talk about the mighty Mississippi have me wondering if there are any boat rentals around the Appleton area? Boat currently down with trailer problems.

Moosebunk mentioned Mcrearys' I think they are renting boats at a reasonable price(don't forget to show your operator card). I used to rent from Johns' Marina on Mississippi eons ago. If anyone could help with this

McCreary's/ McCulloughs Landing
I know that McCreary's rents boats/motors and I do know that as up to last year so did McCulloughs Landing (take the same road towards McCreary's but vear right instead of left.) The owner Ron Caswell at McCulloughs passed away, but I believe his wife still runs the business (613-267-4310).
Just to note that Appleton is on the Missisissippi River way past Carleton Place. There is no direct access from Mississippi Lake as their are several dams at Carleton Place and of course the one at Appleton.
