Boat rental on the Mississippi?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Call Mcreary's Beach Resort, maybe they'll have something or know someone.

hey guys,

Moosebunk mentioned Mcrearys' I think they are renting boats at a reasonable price(don't forget to show your operator card). I used to rent from Johns' Marina on Mississippi eons ago. If anyone could help with this
as well, that would be 8) as i will be a non boater this year

McCreary's/ McCulloughs Landing

Post by devy »

I know that McCreary's rents boats/motors and I do know that as up to last year so did McCulloughs Landing (take the same road towards McCreary's but vear right instead of left.) The owner Ron Caswell at McCulloughs passed away, but I believe his wife still runs the business (613-267-4310).

Just to note that Appleton is on the Missisissippi River way past Carleton Place. There is no direct access from Mississippi Lake as their are several dams at Carleton Place and of course the one at Appleton.
