This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I think the fact that there's a penalty for dead fish kind of implies it's a catch and release tournament.

Either way, it's like you said... crap happens. Live and learn.

Congrats on the finish.

Looks like some light bags... where were all the MONSTER bass??

OK

Let me just get this straight here.

"Your allowed one dead fish at weigh in".... so what the hell kind of live release tournament is this??

"The second bass died in the last five minutes or so
thats why we kept fishing to the end/ to replace one of the dead ones "

So what were you going to do with the dead ones?? Throw them over board for the turtles?

I know any "live release" tournament I have been in, your not allowed any dead fish. It's your RESPONSIBILITY to keep them alive.

Sure you gill hooked one, that's just tough luck. But to have one die in your live well... RUN THE PUMP....

I believe BIG JIM may be delerious in he reply. I think he meant the comedy network not CNN...

GONG!!!!!!!

Not bitter here at all..

Just trying to figure out the tournament rules and choices made by you and your partner.

Obviously there wasn't a hand out of rules prior to the tournament if you brought in 9 bass last year!!! (Or maybe you just didn't read em).

Just never heard/nor seen a tournament run in this fashion!

This is getting better and better by the page...

Almost all series will allow a dead fish to be weighed in...there is a dead fish penalty involved is all....and that fish can not be considered by the Big Fish Prize...
