We just paid $5 for a local launch; not trying to rub things in. On the contrary, I am agreeing with you that $15 / launch is ludicrous. I'd be ticked off, too.
And I would also have been upset by the huge muskellunge you found dead.

Since the muskie was dead and of an enormous size, would it be legal or illegal to take that fish for mounting purposes? Probably most would not want to shell out the $$ to mount a dead fish they didn't catch, but I would actually consider it. I, personally, wouldn't want to kill a muskie I caught for mounting, but since this trophy size was already dead....???
Just wondering what the law is on that situation, and also what state a fish needs to be in when delivered to the taxidermist. What a shame that such an impressive fish had to die for nothing.

I think this is just getting out of hand they didn't even have the docks in yet and they haven't done nothing to the facilities or the launch in 10 years that I can remember. I guess i will be using the Cumberland launch a little more often. Also I saw a dead muskie 
it had to be over 50" must of died that morning or the day before. The only thing I saw wrong with it had a hook mark on it's mouth must of been fought out to death. Someone must of hooked into it and played it out too much and released it and it died.
Now if I could only find some fish!

The highest launch fee I have seen was last week at Fenlon Falls,$10 to put the boat in and another$10 to take it out.the ramp was broken up and you have to park on the street.
