Late September Largemouth

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

If i do use live bait, I usually use frogs
but i thought frogs would be rare this time of year.
so blue gill not allowed? what about perch? there are some golden shiner in lake so i could try to catch some of them.
thats exactly what swimbaits be

You should probably do some more research on the zone your fishing. All the advice given it superb and should put you onto some bass. Take it and give it a go. Leave the little bluegills and perch alone

Good luck

No scales, no tape measure, picture does no justice to actual fish, I think this was pretty close to 6 pounds. Biggest bass of the week.

Rhy,

Well, you got yourself a beautiful bucket there. Too bad the pic is a bit far-off, but you can see it's an outstanding fish!

You are one lucky guy to have a private lake at your disposal. It's gorgeous and I would imagine NOT overfished! Looks like a lovely escape from everyday stress.

Enjoy it -- life is good (except the being back at work part). 8)

Any other pics?????

P.S.

Rhy, you should go back in and edit your title line to this thread to let folks know there are new pictures added. That bass is too nice to pass over!
