Fishing Related Stories Anyone?

I have a few stories that are fishing related but have nothing to do with fish... (i.e. NOT stories about the "big one that got away")

Anyone have some interesting stories they'd be willing to share? (i.e. getting out of a jam while fishing... sinking boat... flat tires on the way to favorite remote lake

... etc...)

Well we used to have a section on here called "How Stupid Was That?", but I archived it last year when there wasn't too much activity.

Would love to hear some of yours though....give 'er a whirl and let's see if it gets some momentum.
