coyote at petrie

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Last year i saw coyotes on 3 different occasions. The first time he ran infront of my car. The rest of the time I could see him on the ice from far away.

There is also a resident wolfe out at the airport. If you ever park at the little spots off the road around the airport at the end of one of the runways, almost everytime the same wolfe has come out and walked right by us and across the road to sniff around the garbage then calmly walks back and doesnt care we are there.

Badger it's probably not a wolfe. Wolves are not attracted by garbage they usually feed on live preys.
When hell freezes over, I'll be there icefishing!!!

Crossed the border on Boxing Day at Prescott @ around 6:00 a.m.. When we got to the crossing there was a young fox sitting like a trained dog beside the next guard box. Tame as old hell... Seems the folks there throw it scraps, and its now a fixture. Wished we had a camera.

Next trip.....

BTW - I heard that the Jiffy Auger, 8 inch cut is on sale this weekend for $269 USD at Gander - What a bargin even bringing back across.

It was definitely a wolfe, I have been with 3 different people and seen it with them and they also said it was a wolfe, one of my friends there has a wolfe husky mix. Besides it was way to big to be coyote.

This "wolfe" prefers chocolate, actually.

Fun critter stories and pics. Turkeys have sure rebounded in the states after getting shot to hell years back. We see them most every day in or around our yard. In really bad winters, they'll come up to the bird feeders and scratch around. Impressive birds.
