Maps

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I have no idea about the lake, but maybe try contacting the Kemptville Ministry Office. They can be helpful... just not quickly :?

McGowan lake is so small that I don't think that there are any maps for that lake. I believe the only lake access is through the campground. Perhaps the camp ground would have something?? If I'm not mistaken there is a motor HP limit for the lake. Check out McGowan campground for more information.

I took the family up there a few years ago for a camping weekend and there was not much to the lake. Caught some LM bass by the lilly pads near the highway and a pike off the bank near the launch.

The campground my be your best bet

I hope it helps you out.

Hi All,

Here is a link to a site with some good Ontario fishing maps.

http://adventurefishingmaps.on.ca/

Of course you have to pay but the price is reasonable. I have made a couple of purchases from them and delivery was timely.
