which rod would you choose?

Shimano Stradic 3000 w/t a Crucial 7' MH.

P.S. If anyone's dream combo is a Citica 200D/Crucial 6'10" MH......there's one @ the bottom of Constance Lk. :evil: :oops: :lol:

that is a difficult choice Andy.

One rod........ouch! I think I'll go with my Kistler Magnesium 7'8" All Day Flippin' & Pitching stick. Although a bit beefy for some applications it would be the perfect "one" rod for me.
Reels.......I'm going to pass on my new Ambassadeur 4600C5 and go to my ol' Ambassadeur Ultra Mag XL Plus because I have 2 spare spools for the reel. With 3 quick change spools on my Ambassadeur I'm gonna have most structure/contitions covered with 8lb, 12lb and braid on the spools.

An 8 wt may be a little much for the walleye, there are no bass where I will be going, but the pike are on the slightly larger size to say the least.
