Re: Kingston Fishing...
Go about 25 minutes east and get off at the 1000 Island Parkway (you'll see a Casino) and follow the parkway for about 5 minutes to the bridge. Park on the North side, walk down the rocks on the same side, lots of nice perch are coming in. Bring lots of hooks due to the pike bite-offs.Jasonb wrote:I'll be headed down to Kingston on Friday morning, would like to get out for some perch and possibly some trout/steelies(if open) anyone got any recommendations? i dont know the area all i know is i used to fish off Wolfe Island as a kid... not looking for hotspots, just where to wet a line and actaully have a chance... anyone wanna join the hunt is more then welcome

You can also go to Kingston Mills just out of Kingston but the perch tend to be small for the most part.
Enjoy!

New to the area myself and don't know any spots really, though I've heard about fishing at the warm water discharge at the plant, the causeway between downtown Kingston and the base, and Kingston Mills.
Good luck if you go, and would be great to see a report here.
