Lac Beauch..

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Lac Beauch..

Post by GuinnessGuy »

HI
Has anyone ever tried this small lake?

I'm sure that its just a crappie/perch lake... but curious to find out if anyone has hit it.

The one off Maloney? That little park with the beach?

Anyways, its stocked with bows each year, but I have not caught one yet. Got some burbotte there though, lots of weeds, so try using a bobber (probably not a good idea to use Bobber though).

Most of the time you will only see/hear the kids in their civics racing around the parking lot in circles, and the cops come by and kick em out pretty much every couple hours.

Fished there when I was a kid growing up in Gatineau, and caught many bows in there.....but that was 20+ years ago...

Small amount of perch and sunfish ........maybe the odd grass pike .

I don't think that they have stock it with trout in about 20 years , come summer time the water temp reaches 90 degrees = dead trout..
