ottawa river eyes

Hi guys, going up this weekend to the Thurso area, are the eyes bitting at all ? Is the water still pretty high ? Any help would be appreciated.

Aunt and uncle live in constance bay and they say the water level is going down but it still high for this time of the year!!

Bogie, I fished that area a week ago and got 8 eyes ( all between a pound - 3) they were hitting jigs ( orange head and chartreuse grub) tipped with a small 2" minnow

LIve in Rockland...

Water is a little higher than normal but getting back to normal.

Went shore fishing last night with Bradford at the rockland launch and in the hour we were there Bradford caught a few Suager . right from shore.

Lindy Rigging with Orange heads and Leeches.

I had the same rig but with White head and the only thing I was getting was Rockbass
