Re: Constance Lake
Info about Constance Lake:
http://www3.sympatico.ca/danfaber/mappa ... tance.html
Directions from Ottawa:
417 West Exit Eagleson Rd. right Eagleson turns into March Rd. Turn right on Dunrobin Rd. (about 8 km away from highway 417). Follow Dunrobin Rd. for 2km. Turn right onto Constance Lake Rd.
You can catch Pike and LM Bass in this lake. Heard there were lots of Crappie but I never have luck to catch them. Never heard there is walleye there.

Hi Guys/Gals
There are some big Crappie in Constance Lake and Bass ,Pike ,there are no walleye
It's a very small lake with only one launch Topwater and I have fished there for a couple of years...Topwater caught a monster Crappie there a few years back...I'v caught a few bass and a few hammer handles! i've heard of 5LBS. bass coming out of the lake....but never seen one

the back roads map book says their is walleye but they are few and far between. I have fished their lots.Great bass and crappie lake. Try hula poppers,White spinner baits and soft plastics. I have found those produce the most fish.Any cranks or divers will give you a headache as the lake is fairly shallow with lots and lots of weed growth.

SeaBass change the spelling on your post or these guys will keep talking about constance lake in Kanata, you are referring to constant lake on hwy 41 outside Dacre which is about 1 hour west of ottawa, some of these guys just dont read all of the post I guess. But you can use the constance lake info too!! There is another bass/pike lake off of hwy 132 in Ferguslea (just past renfrew, Reid lake, I haven't been there for a few years, but it was lots of fun. Good luck
