Going to Crotch Lake - any advise????

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Hi,

I came back Monday afternoon from my 5 days at Crotch Lake, Tumblehome Lodge. We had lots of fun and the place is nice.

The Walleye were quite difficult, it seem that when we were finding one, there was only one at that spot.... In total we were 3 boats, 6 fisherman and we only caught 11 Wally, many pikes and bass. All week-end we were talking with ohter fellows and it seem that you were the most successfull one.

We tried many many different spots but none seem better. We caught most of them in 20feet of water, but we also tried to fish in 10 to 35 feets.

If you are going fishing there, be ready to be very patient, Walleye don't seems to be easy to catch.

Just got back from Crotch lake and the fishing was not to bad!! I went with 3 other adults and and they caught 9 eyes on the Friday night all keepers (lucky buggers and all I caught was a bit of crown royal  )Saturday was another great day for the lucky buggers bagged another 4 eyes and then the storm came . I thought it would blow the tents into the lake but I guess it worked out  . the rest of the time there was a little slower but it was still a great place to fish . Would go back in a heartbeat
