Another Sewage Leak

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I think the original source of the problem could be traced back to Babe-haven and related to Fatlukes big crunch's :x ..............

Anyone know of who should be called to lodge a complaint (not that it will do anything) or any action at all that can be taken on our parts to atleast help make a change?

:D This will never stop until the change the way the storm sewers and poop sewers are designed

Remember it all used to go directly into the river and up until 15 years or so ago Aylmers used to go directly in.

It happens with every system when it gets overloaded with rain water runoff.

Doesn't matter whether it is here or the big smoke or some ones poorly sealed septic tank on the waterfront.

What I get pee peed about is how the SUN is having a slow news day so this is now being reported on a regular basis.. It's been going on for years but they never reported it. WHY????

POLITICAL!!!!!!!!!

Poor Larry :? the mayor is more concerned about his trial, rapid transit and his re-election than the issue of sewage spills.

Also if the city council seees this as an issue it would be addressed but don't expect politicians to give a damn about public opinion until re-election time. I guarantee you all that if this was in their best interest it would be addressed quickly..

If you all sent a letter to your local councillor or MP or MPP and said you would not vote for them and you are getting your friends not to vote for them it would be addressed, it's called LOBBYING and that's what drives these people certainly not their conscience

Politicians are motivated by money they get to be re-elected and if we as fishhawk members got to-gether and collected money and said we would give it to the first councillor who would address this issue then it would become important to them.

Ahh country life only septic tank to worry about.  In the country we take care of our own SH*(*T 8)  8)

I agree sometimes it can seem like nothing will change no matter how much people do or complain however I'm glad that people didn't view the fight against slavery and woman's right to vote as beating a dead horse.

I am not comparing the gravity of slavery to water treatment, I'm only trying to illustrate how much perseverance it often takes to make things right.

thats like the 20th leak in as many months

what is going on?

it seems to me they are dumping on purpose because they are over capacity and it is a convenient excuse to blame rain or such things.

It's an ecological disaster waiting to happen. You can't keep dumping millions of tons of crap into the water and expect nature to bend over and take it.

seriously now whats going on, why are they so lax about preventing it and what are they doing about it (besides nothing).
